BACKGROUND
AI MACHINES ensures all www.ai-machines.com website users that all the information contained in the pages is FREE OF CHARGE, with the exception, obviously, of the final customer order confirmation. However, we point out that the following sales conditions DO NOT strictly apply when the user visualizes our sponsors' websites. Clicking on the sponsor's link and/or banner is however always free of charge, but AI MACHINES does not control or monitor the operation of these websites and their content. Thus AI MACHINES will take no whatsoever responsibility relating to the contents, the subjects and/or the services of their partners' websites.
AI MACHINES has the faculty to not proceed purchase orders if they are incomplete, if the company reputes they are insolvable and/or for any other reason they may believe.
In case of non availability of stocks which could occur due to poor or delayed data updates, it will be our concern to inform the customers involved within 1 working days from placement of the order and if the customer has already provided for payment AI MACHINES will immediately provide refund of the due amount, or based on customer requirements, suggest the replacement with another product with similar features and pricing.
By accepting and transmitting via net the related order, customers are aware of accepting all the sales conditions without reserve; on the contrary customers should strictly avoid transmitting the order.
Following receipt of an order, AI MACHINES, in compliance with ruling law, will send the customer an email with a order's confirm. If the customer believes the order is incorrect and/or incomplete in any part, they will send an email communication or phone the company within 1 working day in order to proceed changes and/or cancel the order. |
You can order directly on line by adding the desired products to your tray and following the indicated procedure, or via phone by calling the number 333-109907 or by sending a fax to 0721-740385.
If you order on line it will be necessary to register filling in the mandatory fields of the question form, including your email address if you have one, that is used as USERNAME allowing you to place your orders.

Listed below are the forms of accepted payment:
1) ADVANCED BANK TRANSFER:
By choosing this modality, when ordering the bank details for the transfer will be communicated and the description field must indicate the order Number and Date as well as the Name and Surname of the person placing the order. Once payment is settled, the customer must send us a copy of the receipt via fax or the related CRO transfer code via email. Once payment has been verified we will provide for immediate delivery of the products ordered.
2) CREDIT CARD:
We also offer the opportunity of paying directly on line with credit cards of the VISA-MASTERCARD, BANCAMERICARD circuit using the well-known and safe PAYPAL circuit or through BANCA SELLA. Your credit card number and transactions are protected by SSL3 - 128 bit cryptic system, which is used to protect your code and transactions from being visible and/or used by others.
When ordering, just choose the type of payment you prefer and follow the instructions.
Credit card purchases may be performed ONLY by the owner of the card. Therefore the goods will be shipped only and exclusively to the owner, consequently the name and address of the owner MUST coincide with the name and address of delivery.
AI MACHINES reserves the right to request any further guarantee and/or to refuse the order.

AI MACHINES offers customers various types of discounts to facilitate purchases, that can vary depending on conditions. Discounts are applicable on total orders and therefore not visible in the product list, but only on the order sheet which is visualized on order confirm page. Here below a detailed list of the types of discounts available:
1) 1% DISCOUNT FOR ADVANCED BANK TRANSFER PAYMENTS:
This type of discount is applied in order to facilitate customers who have to provide for bank transfer at their own expense to cover the order. It appears obvious that when orders are rather consistent this solution allows the customer to recover transfer fees.
2) 1% DISCOUNT FOR PURCHASES ABOVE € 1000,00:
As for the previous discount this facilitation awards good customers performing purchases for high amounts.
3) VARIABLE DISCOUNT BASED ON INDIVIDUAL TOTAL PURCHASE AMOUNT:
To facilitate our best customers, we also provide individual variable discounts for all purchases performed once a given threshold amount has been reached.

Shipping expenses are normally charged to the customer and are automatically added to the order quote, and are equal to 25.00 € VAT Included. Shipping expenses are the same whatever the payment terms chosen.
To enhance rapid dispatching of orders, shipping is performed through the courier Bartolini S.p.A.
Delivery times basically depend on the courier and can vary from 2 to 8 working days from the date of payment for products immediately available in our stores. The purchase of complete PCs requires extra 5 to 12 days to enable assembly of the components.
In order to avoid delivery of our goods to unaware and/or mocked individuals, we could request confirmation of the order via phone.

Customers have immediate right of refund or replacement of the goods received if they do not comply with the goods ordered and paid for.
However the customer must verify the integrity of the packages upon delivery of the goods, making sure the boxes and wrappings are the original ones in order to ascertain any possible responsibility of the courier. If the customer should notice any anomaly, he must strictly reject the goods or accept them with Reserve, and communicate the conditions to AI MACHINES within 5 days from receipt at the address support@ai-machines.com in order to avail the right of replacement and/or refund. Customer must reject the goods if the courier refuses the acceptance with reserve.
Lack of indication of reserve or lack to reject goods implies the loss of right of refund in case the contents of the boxes should actually be damaged.
All products sold by AI MACHINES are guaranteed for a period of minimum 2 years from the date of purchase, in compliance with Law Decree 2 February 2002 n. 24, for manufacturing defects and/or compliance, granted by the manufacturer.
The guarantee has no validity when the defects are caused by the customer due to improper use, negligence, voluntary damage or subsequent to improper installation after sales. Products subject to wear (such as mouse and keyboard, for example), can be replaced under guarantee only when the defect occurs within 30 days of purchase.
AI MACHINES reserves the right to not recognize the guarantee on goods if the product serial number tag has been cancelled, broken or covered.
In case of defects falling under guarantee terms the customer must effect repairs through authorised technical assistance centres following the instructions attached to the goods.
Customers may decide to send the damaged goods back to AI MACHINES, at their own charge, to have them forward the goods to the assistance centre. In this case the customer must contact us at the address support@ai-machines.com or call us to arrange transport and assign the return authorization number (RMA).
AI MACHINES reserves the right to not accept any goods returned with delivery expenses charged to addressee and/or lacking the return authorization number.
The replacement or repair of a product does not vary the duration of the guarantee terms.
Art. 1519-quater of the Dlg 2 February 2002, n. 24 establishes the rights of the consumer, that remain unchanged after application of the previous mentioned rules.

In compliance with D. Lgs. 206/2005 known as "Consumer Code", if the customer is a consumer ( i.e. a physical persona purchasing goods for reasons independent of his/her business, thus purchasing without indicating a VAT Code in the order ) he/she has the right to withdraw the purchase contract at any moment without any explanation at the following conditions.
To exert this right the customer must send a written communication of withdrawal via registered return mail, within 10 working days of receipt of the goods.
The communication may also be sent, within the same due time, via telegram, email and fax, as long as the communication is subsequently confirmed via registered return mail within the subsequent 48 hours. The withdrawal communication must be addressed to:

The goods will then be returned at the expense and charge of the customer within 20 days of delivery of the goods (instead of the 10 provided by the Consumer Code).
AI MACHINES will provide refund of the amount paid for purchase of the goods returned sending a non transferable cheque within 10 working days from receipt of the returned, undamaged goods.
In case payment was effected via credit card, AI MACHINES will provide for transfer of the amount paid within 20 days of the date it learns of the intent to withdraw the purchase.
However, please kindly note that the right of withdrawal can be exerted only if the goods are completely intact and have not been used. Thus, the returned packages must not have ruined wrappings, or show evidence of damage, in which case the Company will not take on any responsibility, nor respond of any damage to products caused during return transport of the goods.
In compliance with letter d) of 3rd comma of art. 5 of D. Lgs. 185/1999, we point out that the right of withdrawal is not contemplated for contracts supplying audiovisual or computer software sealed products if the seal has been opened by the consumer

Minors under 18 years are not authorised to complete on line orders, nor through any other ordering channels, unless under the supervision of a family adult.

- That all data is handled exclusively in connection to our Company's activity, thus to meet contractual obligations, information and post-sales technical assistance, as well as to meet and comply with legal, fiscal and economic obligations in order perform the financial management of customer relationship (filing, calculations, invoicing, customer management, etc.);

a) A confirmation of the existence of personal data concerning the individual and a communication reporting in legible form the data in our possession and their origin, the aims and modes of handling, as well as the logics for handling the data;
b) Identification data concerning the holder and the person responsible for handling;
c) Cancellation, transformation to anonymous format or blocking of data in violation of regulations;
d) Update, modification or integration of the data;
e) A statement that the operations indicated in items c) and d) have been acknowledged to the persons communicated, unless this is not possible or requires the employment of considerably immoderate means compared to the rights of the defendant;
f) To be aware via free access to the Register indicated in art. 154 of Decree 196/2003 of the existence of personal data being handled;
g) To freely object to personal data handling for the mailing of advertising and direct sales materials.
The personal data supplied to our Company upon registration in the web page, with the scope of finalizing contractual agreements, will be handled in full respect of the above mentioned regulations, including the reserve obligations it provides; in fact handling of the data supplied is provided through automated and non-automated instruments, with controlled access and in compliance with arts. 11, 33, 34, 35 and 36 of the Decree, as well as listed in the Technical Specification concerning minimum safety measures.

These are the fruit of a technology invented some years ago by Netscape and commonly widespread in managing electronic and non electronic commercial applications.
A cookie is a small amount of information (a simple text) that the site sends to the browser to withhold, in passing from one page to another, a user browser information or certain graphical parts of the site itself, in order to speed loading of the web page and avoid the user having to register every time he accesses the site. AI MACHINES in order to ensure safety while entering and/or transmitting confidential data (credit card number and personal data) uses the most advanced protection protocol available in the web, known as SSL-128, developed by Netscape Communication Inc. and supported by the most widespread Browsers, including Microsoft Explorer.
This technology allows confidential information to be transmitted in internet exclusively in encrypted format, i.e. codified based on a complex mathematical algorithm that reasonably guarantees illegibility of the data.
Using this protection is easy for the user because it does not involve the adoption of any particular procedures. It will be the Browsers job to dialogue under encrypted format with a safe server, autonomously and automatically handling the protected communication process. Therefore, access to AI MACHINES site areas that require entering confidential data, protected by SSL-128 is notified by the Browser with a warning window, and by a page address containing the prefix " https:// "; furthermore down in the Browser bar the image of a closed "lock" is present.
In particular, in relation to credit cards payments its worth highlighting that the customer enters his card details in a specific page connected to Banca Sella, our supporting bank. AI MACHINES will not receive the information nor will they store them in any way. The transaction will be carried out directly through the bank's SSL-128 encrypted circuit.
